This one of a kind Hamsa Evil Eye Amulet is made with torchfired enamel on copper. Enamel is powdered glass fused to metal at high temperatures of 1300-1500 F. Multiple layers, techniques, and firings were used to achieve the special look of this Hamsa.

The setting is formed around the Hamsa shape and handcrafted from high quality 316 stainless steel. I like this grade of steel for it's hypoallergenic and anti-tarnish properties, as well as it's bright color. It has a brushed finish with polished notched edges. The prongs are bronze, and the bail is anodized titanium.

Approx 1.5" L x 1" W.

Includes a complimentary 18 inch rubber cord with friction clasp.

The Hamsa Hand is an ancient Middle Eastern amulet symbolizing the Hand of God. In all faiths it is a protective sign. It brings it's owner happiness, luck, health, and good fortune.  The open right hand, is a sign of protection that also represents blessings, power and strength, and is seen as potent in deflecting the evil eye. The evil eye is a curse or legend believed to be cast by a malevolent glare, usually given to a person when they are unaware. Talismans created to protect against the evil eye are also frequently called "evil eyes". The idea expressed by the term causes many different cultures to pursue protective measures against it.
